Driving Instructor Certification

In order for a person to become qualified as a driving instructor in Ontario, the Ministry of Transportation requires successful completion of an MTO approved driving instructor course. Our MTO approved 140-hour course includes all of the pre-requisite courses required by the MTO, plus includes an additional session on Prevention and Intervention.

CPD offers a large range of driving instructor courses, we use our propriety training method PTP (Psychological, Theoretical and Practical) to ensure that you walk away from our course with the confidence to take on students. Students who complete the course successfully will receive MTO certification as well as a College Certificate and our own CPD Driving Instructor Certification, which is held in high regard by all driving schools in the Ontario.

All our Driving Instructor Courses are MTO approved and are taught through the Colleges.
